About the Artist

Jett Ilagan (b.1991), a.k.a. escuri, is a Filipino music producer and multidisciplinary artist. His work explores the ideas of cultural soundscapes and psychogeographies, or the effect of a geographical location on the emotions and behaviour of individuals and/or communities. His methods include sound walking, immersion, and staging sonic encounters between an environment and its inhabitants.
